Private Line & MPLS

Private any-to-any MPLS/VPLS fabric with traffic isolation, CoS queuing and MEF-compliant SLA guarantees — site-to-site, site-to-DC and site-to-cloud connectivity over a single managed underlay, not a tangle of carrier relationships.

Overview

When your business runs on multiple sites — factories, offices, data centres — the network connecting them cannot be best-effort. Private Line and MPLS replaces shared internet transit with dedicated, SLA-backed connectivity between sites that delivers predictable latency, zero packet loss on the private path, and guaranteed throughput regardless of internet congestion. Traffic stays on your private network, isolated from public internet routing, with class-of-service tagging to prioritise real-time voice and video alongside bulk data.

Clevertek scopes every engagement to your environment — capacity, sites, compliance and support model — so you get a tailored plan rather than a fixed SKU. Pricing is quote-only, and our solutions architects will work through your requirements before any proposal.

What we do

Our approach

We design, provision, and manage private point-to-point circuits and MPLS VPNs for enterprises that need deterministic performance between fixed locations. Every circuit comes with a committed information rate (CIR), latency and uptime SLAs, and class-of-service (CoS) queuing for application-aware traffic management. We handle carrier procurement, circuit delivery, CPE configuration, BGP/OSPF routing, and ongoing 24x7 monitoring — so your sites communicate as if they share a single LAN, without managing carrier relationships per location.

Why Clevertek

Why work with us

Guaranteed latency and zero packet loss

Private circuit means traffic never touches the public internet. Latency is measured and guaranteed between endpoints — no jitter, no variable routing, no packet retransmission from congestion.

Class-of-service traffic prioritisation

Voice, video, and real-time applications get priority queuing while bulk data and backups use remaining capacity. CoS policies are configured per circuit and monitored for compliance.

SLA-backed uptime and availability

Committed uptime, latency, jitter, and mean-time-to-repair MTTR SLAs per circuit — monitored 24x7 with automated escalation when thresholds are breached.

Scalable from 2 Mbps to 100 Gbps

Start at the bandwidth you need and scale on the same infrastructure. MPLS VPN topology supports adding new sites without reconfiguring the existing network — just a single connection to the nearest aggregation point.

Multi-carrier diversity for resilience

Physically diverse fibre paths, dual CPE at critical sites, and automatic BGP failover ensure a secondary path activates within seconds if the primary link drops.

Single contract, one accountable provider

Every circuit, every site, every carrier — managed under one contract with a single SLA, one escalation path, and unified reporting across your entire private network.

Benefits

Key benefits

What this solution delivers for your business.

Predictable application performance

Dedicated bandwidth with CoS queuing ensures SAP, ERP, video conferencing, and VoIP perform consistently across all sites — no dropouts during peak hours or file-transfer windows.

Reduced network complexity

MPLS VPN replaces point-to-point circuits and site-to-site VPN overlays with a single, managed fabric. New sites connect in days, not weeks, without rearchitecting the WAN.

Faster issue resolution

24x7 NOC monitors every circuit end-to-end. Faults are detected and escalated before users notice — mean time to respond measured in minutes, with automated carrier ticket logging.

Better cost predictability

Fixed monthly pricing per circuit with committed bandwidth. No variable data charges, no egress fees, no unexpected overage bills from ISP usage spikes.

Business continuity readiness

Diverse routing with automatic failover means a fibre cut or carrier outage in one location does not isolate your sites. Traffic reroutes through the secondary path within seconds.

Audit-ready network visibility

Per-circuit SLA compliance reports, throughput trends, and incident history available on demand — for internal audits, regulatory compliance, or vendor performance reviews.

Capabilities

What's included

Part of this managed service.

Point-to-point private line

  • 2 Mbps to 100 Gbps
  • Ethernet or STM interfaces
  • Symmetric bandwidth
  • Zero packet loss on path

MPLS VPN

Layer-3 VPN connecting multiple sites over a private MPLS backbone with class-of-service traffic management.

  • Full-mesh or hub-spoke topology
  • CoS queuing (4 classes)

Where it helps

Real-world scenarios where this solution delivers measurable outcomes.

Multi-site enterprise WAN

Connect headquarters, regional offices, and factories over a private MPLS VPN with CoS prioritisation — ERP traffic gets premium queuing, file syncs use best-effort, and voice is always clear regardless of WAN load.

Data centre interconnection

Link multiple data centres over private fibre with zero packet loss for synchronous replication, database mirroring, and disaster-recovery traffic that cannot tolerate internet variability.

Financial trading connectivity

Connect trading floors to exchanges and clearing houses over ultra-low-latency private circuits with deterministic sub-millisecond latency and physically diverse paths.

Branch-to-data-centre backhaul

Connect retail branches, bank branches, or remote offices to the central data centre over a dedicated private line — consistent performance for thin-client, POS, and CCTV backhaul.

Hybrid cloud extension

Extend the private MPLS VPN into cloud provider edge routers for consistent performance between on-premise sites and cloud VPCs — with the same CoS policies and SLA guarantees.

Questions buyers actually ask

What is the difference between private line and MPLS?

A private line is a point-to-point circuit connecting two locations directly. MPLS is a multi-point VPN connecting many sites over a shared provider backbone with traffic isolation and class-of-service — you get any-to-any connectivity instead of a mesh of point-to-point circuits.

Can private line and MPLS coexist?

Yes. Many enterprises use private lines for high-bandwidth data-centre interconnects and MPLS for general site-to-site connectivity. Both are managed under the same SLA and monitoring framework.

How quickly can a new site be added?

MPLS sites with fibre availability can be connected within 2-4 weeks for metro locations. Non-metro sites follow carrier lead times, but the failover path and monitoring are configured before go-live.

Do you provide the router at each site?

Yes. CPE is included as part of the managed service — we supply, configure, and manage Cisco or Juniper devices with routing, QoS, and monitoring pre-configured for each site.

What happens when a fibre is cut?

Diverse physical paths with BGP-based automatic failover activate a secondary route within seconds. Our NOC detects the cut, confirms the failover, and initiates carrier repair — you get one status update.
