IP Transit

Global IP transit with diverse upstream peering, BGP full tables and burstable committed rates. Serves ISPs, content platforms and enterprises that need predictable reachability without hairpinning through a single provider.

Overview

Businesses that serve content, run SaaS platforms, or operate peered networks need internet connectivity that keeps pace with their traffic — not a residential-grade connection that throttles under load. IP Transit provides dedicated, high-capacity internet access with full BGP routing tables, allowing your network to choose the optimal path between your infrastructure and the global internet. Unlike standard consumer internet or DIA, IP Transit gives you control over routing policy, peering relationships, and traffic engineering — the same connectivity model used by ISPs, content platforms, and cloud providers themselves.

Clevertek scopes every engagement to your environment — capacity, sites, compliance and support model — so you get a tailored plan rather than a fixed SKU. Pricing is quote-only, and our solutions architects will work through your requirements before any proposal.

What we do

Our approach

We provision dedicated IP Transit circuits for businesses that need provider-class internet connectivity — full BGP tables, public ASN integration, and multi-homed resilience. Every circuit comes with port capacity from 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps, committed bandwidth, and 24x7 NOC monitoring. We handle ASN registration, BGP peering configuration, route policy definition, and ongoing carrier management — so your traffic reaches its destination over the best available path without manual intervention.

Why Clevertek

Why work with us

Full BGP routing tables

Receive the complete global routing table (IPv4 and IPv6) — every prefix, every AS path — so your routers make optimal forwarding decisions based on real-time network conditions.

Multi-homed resilience

Connect via two or more upstream providers with diverse physical paths. BGP withdraws routes from a failed link within seconds, and traffic shifts to the remaining provider.

Committed port capacity

From 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps per port with committed bandwidth. Burstable models available for traffic that spikes predictably — pay for the baseline, use the headroom.

ASN and IP space management

We help register or transfer your public ASN, announce your IP prefixes, and configure route policies — including prefix filtering, AS-path prepending, and community-based traffic engineering.

Peering and settlement-free options

Access to public and private peering exchanges, IXPs, and settlement-free interconnection with major content and cloud providers — reducing transit dependency and improving latency.

24x7 NOC and DDoS mitigation

Every transit circuit is monitored for utilisation, latency, and anomaly patterns. Basic DDoS mitigation at the port level is included — scrubbing capacity available as an upgrade.

Benefits

Key benefits

What this solution delivers for your business.

Optimal traffic routing

Full routing tables let you choose the shortest, cheapest, or fastest path for each destination — rather than the single default route your ISP pre-configures.

Higher throughput without throttling

Dedicated port capacity with committed bandwidth — no contention, no peak-hour shaping, no overage penalties for sustained throughput.

Reduced dependency on single providers

Multi-homed to two or more upstream carriers with automatic failover. A carrier outage anywhere degrades capacity but does not disconnect you.

Better latency to global destinations

Peering at IXPs and direct interconnects with content providers means traffic from your infrastructure reaches end users over the shortest possible path.

Full traffic visibility

NetFlow or sFlow data on every port — utilisation, top talkers, protocol distribution, and AS-path analysis — available through a portal or exported to your monitoring stack.

Scalable to 100 Gbps and beyond

Port upgrades from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps to 100 Gbps on the same infrastructure. 400 Gbps available in select data centres.

Where it helps

Real-world scenarios where this solution delivers measurable outcomes.

SaaS and content delivery

Host SaaS applications or content platforms that need reliable, high-throughput internet connectivity with optimal paths to end users across multiple regions and ISPs.

Data centre internet egress

Provision high-capacity internet egress from colocation facilities or private data centres with multi-homed resilience — essential for platforms that serve traffic to the open internet.

Gaming infrastructure

Low-latency, jitter-free connectivity for multiplayer game servers and matchmaking infrastructure — multi-homed BGP routing ensures optimal paths to players across ISPs.

ISP and service provider backhaul

Use IP Transit as upstream connectivity for your own ISP or managed service business — full BGP tables, public ASN, and settlement-free peering options included.

Large-scale file distribution

High-throughput transit ports for software distribution, media streaming, or large-file delivery — committed bandwidth ensures sustained transfer rates without throttling.

Questions buyers actually ask

How is IP Transit different from DIA?

DIA gives your office or site dedicated internet access with a fixed route through one provider. IP Transit gives your network full BGP routing control and the ability to choose from multiple upstream paths — it is the connectivity model used by data centres and content platforms.

Do I need my own ASN?

Not necessarily. We can provide transit over our ASN with a private VRF, or help you register your own ASN and announce your prefixes. The right approach depends on whether you need multi-homing and route policy control.

What bandwidth is available?

From 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps per port. Ports are available in carrier-neutral data centres across Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Pune.

Can I mix committed and burstable billing?

Yes. Many enterprises use committed billing for baseline traffic and burstable for predictable spikes. Each port is billed independently, so you can right-size per location.

What happens if one upstream provider goes down?

BGP withdraws the affected routes, and traffic shifts to the remaining provider(s) within 30 seconds. Capacity is reduced but service continues uninterrupted.
